Integration

Your Sendio server is typically installed inside your corporate firewall on the same subnet as your SMTP gateway. MX records are set to route all email traffic to the Sendio server first, so that it can perform its email system protection functions. All legitimate email is then forwarded on to the gateway and the internal mail servers.

During server configuration, you provide information about your Directory services so that all user email accounts and access rights are integrated in the Sendio database.
