Territory Account Manager
Sendio is seeking a highly motivated individual capable of directly engaging and driving new opportunities. A proven track record in creating new business and successfully selling complex IT solutions from initial stages is desired.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a defined geographic territory of reseller and end user accounts
- Make outbound calls to targeted end user accounts as identified by calling campaign or Sales Management
- Respond to leads provided by Sales Management in a timely fashion
- Recruit and develop Reseller Partners in a defined territory
- Update and maintain customer records in NetSuite on a daily basis
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets as set forth by Sales Management
- Advise customers on product options and confirm product pricing and availability
- Advise customers on new products and new trends in e-mail spam filtering and blocking technologies
- Enter sales orders into system in an efficient and timely fashion
- Troubleshoot and/or escalate sales orders of moderate complexity
- Help resolve customer issues and problems with goal of maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Stay current on new products, technology, changes in the industry, etc.
- Maintain a moderate level of technical competency on all products offered by Sendio
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-3 years inside sales experience selling in a high technology hardware/software or services environment, preferably in the IT networking industry
- Strong prospecting, qualifying, closing and managing skills
- Excellent personal and communication skills
- Strong commitment to integrity, follow through, and customer orientation
- Highly motivated self starter
- Experience selling into a complex environment (multiple contacts at multiple levels within the organization)
- Comfortable in demonstrating technical products to large and small audiences
- Project management or account management experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
