kbowyer@sendio.comKevin Bowyer joined Sendio as chief executive officer after serving as president and chief executive officer of Cogent Global Services, a global sales outsourcing company focused on developing global sales/marketing strategies for early stage technology companies. Previously, Bowyer was president of U.S. sales for Mitel Networks, where he created and implemented an innovative sales plan that dramatically increased year-over-year enterprise revenues. From 1984 to 2002, Bowyer held executive sales positions at Nortel Networks, including president of worldwide enterprise professional services and group vice president for enterprise networks, successfully building the global accounts and channel sales organization for the Caribbean and Latin America regions. Bowyer holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Windsor, Ontario, and also completed the Executive Leadership Program in International Marketing at Columbia University.
Tal Golan, Founder, President & CTO
tgolan@sendio.comTal Golan is the company founder, president and CTO. A technology innovator since 1994, Golan is the e-mail security expert and technology visionary driving the direction of Sendio’s product offerings as well as overseeing engineering, product management and technical development. Golan entered the high-tech industry working for the Multimedia and Digital Video Laboratory at Pixel Multimedia in Tel Aviv, Israel. Prior to founding Sendio, Golan founded OpticNerve, Inc., a software development and consulting firm developing enterprise-level Internet applications. At OpticNerve, he worked with many Internet industry pioneers, including Exodus Communications (now Cable & Wireless) and Netcom (now Earthlink). Golan is an expert in SMTP, Java, Linux, SQL, Cryptography and PHP, and has extensive experience as both an architect and implementer of Web-based applications. Golan holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Brandeis University.
Bud Terrell, VP of Finance & Administration
bterrell@sendio.comBud Terrell joined Sendio in 2006 as vice president of finance and administration. In this capacity, Terrell oversees all financial transactions within the organization, acts as liaison to the sales team for accounting negotiations and is responsible for human resources, administration and facilities. Terrell formerly served as senior vice president of finance at National Water & Power Services Corporation, where he managed finance, accounting, planning, compliance, trust and facilities operations. Previously, he was acting chief financial officer at Superior Galleries (owned by Stanford Financial Group) and vice president and chief financial officer at Parkway Mortgage/MHshopper.com. From 1990 to 1999, Terrell served as controller and vice president of finance at HDS, a privately-owned manufacturer of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts. Terrell holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from the University of Southern California. He became a certified public accountant in 1990.
Cameron Brown, VP of Engineering
cbrown@sendio.comAs Sendio’s second employee, Cameron Brown helps guide the company vision and execute on the product roadmap. Brown currently acts as lead engineer, as well as managing and directing Sendio’s engineering team. Prior to joining Sendio, Brown served as director of engineering at Grey Zone, Inc., where he led product architecture and development for two generations of the company's Web-based extranet content management and security platform. Brown brings more than 15 years of experience in enterprise software development and architecture, Unix kernel, networking, security, Web interfaces, and content transformation and markup. He has one pending content-security patent stemming from this work. Brown holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Peter Ombres, Senior Director of Business Development & Strategy
pombres@sendio.comPeter Ombres serves as Sendio’s senior director of business development and strategy. In this capacity, Ombres manages all technology partnerships, business development and synergistic relationships. Prior to joining Sendio, Ombres served as vice president of operations and product at Gunnar Optiks, a San Diego-based manufacturer of digital performance eyewear. As a co-founder of the company, he was responsible for developing the “go-to-market” strategy, execution of all corporate start-up activities and management of overseas manufacturing. Before Gunnar Optiks, Ombres was an associate at Momentum Venture Management, and Bain & Company, where he worked on a number of corporate strategy engagements for Fortune 500 companies. Ombres received a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting from Claremont McKenna College.
John Randall, Director, Customer Service & Support
jrandall@sendio.comJohn Randall serves as the director of Sendio’s Support and Sales Engineering organization. Randall is an IT veteran who brings to Sendio more than fourteen years of industry expertise in strategic planning, IT and project management, as well as hardware/software integration and implementation. Prior to joining Sendio, Randall was the director of project services at inhouseIT, an IT professional services firm for small businesses. As a member of the corporate executive team, Randall was responsible for managing the project delivery team. Prior to inhouseIT, Randall spent many years in consulting and technology support as well as providing internal IT management for companies like The Keith Companies, a national civil engineering professional services firm.
Jonathan Owen, Director of Product Management
jowen@sendio.comJonathan Owen brings more than two decades of engineering, classroom training and management experience to Sendio. Owen joined Sendio in January 2007 as director of customer service and support and is currently the director of product management, where he is responsible for product development and roadmap execution. Owen started his professional career as a software developer in the CAD/CAM industry while in high school. Prior to joining Sendio, he spent five years as a senior customer relationship management (CRM) consultant, assisting companies in streamlining operations and increasing revenues by implementing CRM systems and re-engineering business processes. Owen brings to Sendio a wide range of skills and disciplines based on his eclectic experience and academic studies. Owen holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and computer science, as well as a master’s in business from the Recanati Graduate School of Business Administration. Owen is also a graduate of the I.D.F. MAMRAM Computing Institute.
