What is the IP Reputation service?
With Sendio 6 we added the use of Commtouch's IP Reputation service. This highly regarded service assigns a percentage to each message which classifies the likelihood the message is spam based on daily evaluation of over one billion messages. The IP Reputation service is designed to provide yet another defense against unwanted messages. Sendio considers all messages with a 90%, or higher, rating by Commtouch to be disreputable and the action defined by the Sender IP Address Bad Reputation option will be applied. The 90% value is not configurable.
If you find a situation where a sender has been assigned a value over 90% please have them contact Commtouch directly to dispute the assigned value at http://www.commtouch.com/check-ip-reputation. Only Commtouch can change the rating of messages from a public IP.
