Sendio is a software development company that builds email system protection products. The video on the right gives you a short overview of just how we do it. We license our software to you on a per-user per-year subscription basis, and deliver it as either an appliance-based turn-key solution or a remotely-hosted service solution.
The sections below provide general information about the products that is applicable to both delivery modes. Menu options on the left provide the details on our appliance-based solutions and remotely-hosted options. |

Sendio® solutions are compatible with virtually all email systems.
Fully tested and certified brands includes:
- MS Exchange v5.5 and higher
- Lotus Notes
- Apple Xserve
The software seamlessly integrates with the directory services within the network so that User Management is centralized and secure. |
|
Sendio® software is licensed per-user on a yearly subscription basis. Multi-year options are also available at a discounted price.
Subscription licenses include the right-to-use the software for the designated period, all software maintenance and updates, and access the Sendio technical support.
Licenses are bundled in 50-user paks, and you can purchase additional license paks (on a pro-rated basis so expirations line up) at any time. |

Sendio has developed its email system protection software on an optimized version of a high-security Linux kernel. The core work-flow engine includes an integrated version of the ClamAV anti-virus tool-kit.
Optionally, customers can choose to augment the open source ClamAV system with Commtouch "zero-hour" virus outbreak protection.

For appliance-based turn-key solutions, the Sendio server is typically installed inside your corporate firewall on the same subnet as your SMTP gateway. MX records are set to route all email traffic to the Sendio server first, so that it can perform its email system protection functions. All legitimate email is then forwarded on to the gateway and the internal mail servers.
For remotely-hosted service solutions, there is no “installation” required; simply integration with your Directory infrastructure.

|
An organization will have both a company-wide community and personal user communities.
The company-wide community would import all of the system contacts in your email server and, typically, all of the contacts in the your CRM system (SAP, Siebel et al). Personal communities would import all of an individual user's contacts (from Outlook for example). In this way, everybody you already do business with or interact with is automatically in your community.

The most succinct description of the User experience when Sendio® email system protection is in place is:
- all legitimate email shows up
- bad email disappears
That's it. Not much else changes. Just a clean inbox.
