Cameron Brown, Vice President, Engineering
A Sendio cofounder and head of the engineering team, Cameron implements the company vision and has been the principal designer and developer of the software used in Sendio's products. He has been passionate about email since his days as a computer science student and email system administrator at UC Berkeley. Since 2004, Cameron has been committed to restoring the amazing utility and productivity he experienced with email in the years before it was co-opted by commercial marketers and criminal networks. Prior to joining Sendio, Cameron served as Director of Engineering at Grey Zone, Inc., where he led product architecture and development for two generations of the company's web-based extranet content management and security platform. He has one pending content-security patent stemming from this work. Cameron brings to Sendio nearly 20 years of experience designing and implementing secure, networked, client/server and web applications for the enterprise on various unix-based platforms with emphases in workflow, messaging, document transformation, and content management. Cameron holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Brian Campbell, Senior Director, Customer Support and Product Management
Brian Campbell is responsible for defining product strategy for Sendio email security and email productivity solutions as well as ensuring complete customer satisfaction for Sendio customers and partners. He brings a broad functional (Customer Service, Sales, Marketing) skill set to Sendio across email security, telecommunications, fiber networks, and data networks. Prior to Sendio he spearheaded ISP deployment management at the venture backed email security startup Red Condor, helping grow their customer base to over 100 Internet Service Providers. In his 21 year career he has also worked at other venture-backed technology companies including Teknovus, Mahi Networks, and Terawave in various roles. He started his career at Nortel Networks in the fiber networks division supporting Pacific Bell and other large customers’ fiber buildouts. Mr. Campbell holds a BSEE from University of Michigan, an MSEE from Georgia Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Georgia State University.
Geoffrey Flagg, Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Geoffrey Flagg is responsible for financial planning, financial reporting, accounting, human resources and compliance activities for the company. Mr. Flagg is a CPA (inactive status) with over 17 years of experience in public accounting and finance and accounting for both publicly-traded and privately-held businesses. He began his career in audit with the national accounting firm BDO Seidman, LLP and subsequently joined Rentech, Inc., a publicly-traded alternative energy company, as the Corporate Controller. He was promoted to Chief Financial Officer of the firm, during which time he led several private equity financing rounds, managed the implementation of new corporate insurance and benefit programs and guided the company to successful compliance with section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. In addition, he was a key member of the business team that negotiated and closed a $73 million strategic acquisition, including a $30 million operating line of credit and a distribution agreement between the new subsidiary and a multi-national customer. He was also responsible for all internal and external reporting functions including SEC reporting, all cash management and treasury functions and integration of accounting and financial systems of all subsidiaries. He holds his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Colorado at Denver and is a member of the AICPA and the Ohio Society of CPA’s.
